The challenge

The challenge was to create a design that elevates the Very Special bottle while revealing a deeper narrative.

The concept materializes through the interplay of silhouettes, forming a trophy that embodies Hennessy’s legacy and craftsmanship.

To meet this challenge, I developed a quilted pattern in multiple shades of gold, symbolizing the diversity of eaux-de-vie that compose Hennessy’s cognacs.

Like the art of blending, each golden facet contributes to a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts—rich, complex, and timeless.

Balancing symbolism, materiality, and storytelling, this project transforms design into an experience, honoring the brand’s heritage while offering a fresh perspective.
